Community, Content, Child Safety, IP, and Enforcement Policy

Version 4 · Effective September 16, 2026

Plain Summary

CelebrateSync and HostHaven are intended to support lawful event management, guest experiences, private event media, supplier information, communications, and related digital tools.

Users must not misuse the Services to harm others, exploit minors, publish non-consensual intimate media, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property rights, manipulate reviews, scrape guest information, abuse invitations, upload malware, or disclose private Event Data outside the authorized Event purpose.

The Operator may restrict content, disable access, preserve evidence, suspend accounts, revoke roles or QR credentials, review supplier profiles, freeze reviews, or escalate serious matters where required or permitted by law.

This summary is provided for convenience only. The full policy governs.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Community, Content, Child Safety, Intellectual Property, and Enforcement Policy applies to all User Content, Event Content, Event Data, media, photographs, videos, messages, supplier profiles, reviews, ratings, supplier responses, comments, QR or invitation activity, public pages, support submissions, and other conduct or interactions within CelebrateSync, HostHaven, the Supplier Network, the Public Trust surface, and related Services.

This Policy establishes user-facing conduct standards and explains how the Operator may respond to prohibited content, unlawful activity, safety concerns, privacy complaints, intellectual-property complaints, supplier-profile abuse, review abuse, Event-privacy violations, and other misuse.

This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Notice and Data Rights Policy, Media Terms, Supplier Network and Public Trust rules, Review Guidelines, Spark Points Program Terms, Cookie and Marketing Policy, Account Deletion and Retention Policy, and any applicable Event-specific or feature-specific rules.

2. General Standard of Conduct

Users must use the Services lawfully, respectfully, honestly, and only for the purpose for which access was granted.

Content, conduct, Accounts, Event Credentials, supplier profiles, reviews, messages, media, or other activity may be restricted where the Operator reasonably determines that the activity is unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, privacy-invasive, misleading, infringing, unsafe, spam-like, fraudulent, unauthorized, inconsistent with Event privacy, or harmful to platform integrity.

The Operator may consider the nature of the content or conduct, the affected persons, the available evidence, the urgency of the report, the risk of continued access, applicable law, technical capability, and the need to protect Users, minors, Events, suppliers, rights holders, and the Services.

3. Child Safety Prohibition

Users must not create, upload, request, solicit, stream, live-stream, distribute, transmit, store for unlawful purposes, promote, arrange, facilitate, access, view, or otherwise use the Services in connection with online sexual abuse or exploitation of children, child sexual abuse or exploitation material, sexualized minor content, grooming, trafficking, coercion, enticement, or any form of abuse or exploitation of children.

This prohibition applies to private galleries, Event media, direct messages, supplier content, comments, reviews, profile images, links, QR or invitation flows, Event workspaces, public pages, support submissions, and any other feature of the Services.

The Operator may treat suspected child-safety violations as urgent safety matters.

4. Child-Safety Response

Reports or detections involving child safety may receive urgent review and protective action.

Where required or permitted by applicable law, the Operator may restrict access, remove or disable content, disable sharing links, suspend or restrict Accounts, revoke Event Credentials, preserve relevant information, document the report, escalate internally, cooperate with competent authorities, or make legally required reports or referrals.

The Operator may preserve account information, registration information, traffic data, content data, reports, communications, logs, identifiers, and related evidence where required or permitted by law, where necessary to protect a child or another person, or where necessary to investigate or respond to suspected unlawful conduct.

The Operator may be unable to notify a User or affected person about certain preservation, disclosure, restriction, or reporting actions where notice is prohibited, confidential, unsafe, or likely to compromise an investigation, child-safety response, or legal obligation.

5. Non-Consensual Intimate Images and Voyeuristic Content

Users must not capture, upload, copy, display, publish, share, threaten to share, distribute, request, solicit, store, or facilitate access to intimate, private, sexual, hidden-camera, voyeuristic, exploitative, or non-consensual images, videos, recordings, or other media.

Consent to being photographed, filmed, recorded, or present at an Event does not automatically constitute consent to upload, publish, redistribute, display, or make the material available through the Services.

Reports involving non-consensual intimate media or voyeuristic content may result in immediate restriction, disabling of sharing, preservation of evidence, account restriction, escalation, or other lawful action while the matter is reviewed.

6. Harassment, Threats, Doxxing, and Abuse

Users must not threaten, harass, stalk, bully, shame, extort, blackmail, intimidate, exploit, or target another person through the Services.

Users must not publish, threaten to publish, misuse, or solicit private information without authority, including private contact details, home addresses, school information, medical or accessibility notes, minor information, guest lists, seating charts, QR passes, private Event details, private communications, supplier-client information, or confidential business information.

The Operator may restrict or remove abusive content and may restrict Accounts, roles, Event Credentials, supplier profiles, reviews, or messaging features where necessary to protect affected persons or the Services.

7. Defamation, False Content, and Harmful Misrepresentation

Users must not knowingly submit false factual claims, fabricated Event experiences, fake supplier allegations, forged screenshots, manipulated evidence, impersonation content, misleading profile information, false ownership claims, or statements intended to unfairly harm a person, Event, supplier, business, or organization.

Opinions may be permitted where they are based on a genuine experience and do not otherwise violate this Policy. However, factual assertions may be moderated, restricted, or removed where they appear unsupported, fabricated, privacy-invasive, unlawful, misleading, abusive, or outside the permitted purpose of the relevant feature.

The Operator does not adjudicate every private dispute, but may act where content or conduct presents legal, safety, privacy, integrity, or platform-risk concerns.

8. Intellectual Property and Copyright Complaints

Users must not upload, display, transmit, distribute, publish, or otherwise use content through the Services in a manner that infringes copyright, trademark, moral rights, publicity rights, privacy rights, contractual rights, or other rights of another person.

Rights holders or authorized representatives may report alleged infringement through legal@celebratesync.app, reportabuse@celebratesync.app, or an in-app reporting route where available.

A rights complaint should identify the work or right allegedly infringed, the allegedly infringing content or location, the reporter’s authority to act, contact information, the requested action, and any supporting information reasonably necessary to assess the complaint.

The Operator may restrict, hide, disable, preserve, or remove content while reviewing a rights complaint, subject to applicable law and available procedures.

9. Photographer Rights, Commissioned Works and Attribution Complaints

Photographers, videographers, editors, artists, and other creators may report unauthorized upload, unauthorized distribution, missing attribution, removal or alteration of watermark or rights metadata, misuse of commissioned works, or other alleged rights violations involving media uploaded to the Services.

Possession of a file or access to Event media does not automatically mean that the uploader owns copyright or has authority to authorize platform hosting, display, redistribution, or public use.

The Operator may require the uploader, Organizer, supplier, or other relevant person to provide written authority, license, assignment, consent, or other evidence supporting the uploaded or disputed use. The Operator may restrict or preserve the media while the rights issue is assessed.

10. Supplier Impersonation and Business Profile Abuse

Users must not claim, edit, control, or represent a supplier profile without authority.

Users must not create fake supplier profiles, impersonate a competitor, hijack a trade name, submit false business details, manipulate categories, misrepresent ownership, use misleading credentials, publish unauthorized contact details, or use the Supplier Network to deceive Organizers, guests, suppliers, or the public.

The Operator may pause, reject, reverse, hide, correct, restrict, or manually review supplier profile claims, edits, labels, responses, or other supplier-related activity where there is risk of impersonation, fraud, harassment, trade-name conflict, unauthorized representation, inaccurate information, or other misuse.

11. Reviews, Ratings, Review Abuse and Incentives

Where reviews, ratings, supplier responses, or Public Trust features are enabled, Users must submit only genuine feedback based on an eligible and relevant experience.

Fake reviews, competitor reviews, self-reviews, undisclosed family, employee, owner, contractor, affiliate, or compensated reviews, coerced reviews, paid reviews, review retaliation, review bombing, undisclosed incentive reviews, duplicate reviews, and reviews submitted to manipulate supplier reputation are prohibited.

Suppliers must not threaten, pressure, reward, punish, retaliate against, or condition service on a User’s review, rating, removal, or revision.

Spark Points must not depend on the rating, tone, substance, positivity, star level, supplier approval, or outcome of a review. Review-related Spark Points or other incentives must remain disabled unless a compliant incentive-disclosure model is separately reviewed, approved, and implemented.

12. Spam, Scraping, and Automated Abuse

Users must not scrape, harvest, export, copy, sell, reuse, or misuse guest lists, contact information, Event Data, supplier data, reviews, media, or other platform information.

Users must not spam invitations, abuse messaging, create fake Accounts, use bots, manipulate Spark Points, overload systems, bypass access controls, test vulnerabilities without authorization, automate unauthorized interactions, or interfere with another User’s use of the Services.

The Operator may rate-limit, block, suspend, restrict, revoke access, invalidate credentials, or preserve evidence in response to suspected automated abuse, scraping, spam, or unauthorized access.

13. Malware, Phishing and Security Abuse

Users must not upload, transmit, link to, distribute, or facilitate malware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting content, malicious code, harmful files, exploit payloads, unauthorized tracking tools, or other content intended to compromise the Services, Users, devices, Accounts, Events, suppliers, or third-party systems.

Security reports may be investigated, escalated, and preserved. The Operator may restrict Accounts, content, links, files, QR passes, messages, supplier profiles, or other activity where necessary to protect the Services or affected persons.

14. Unlawful Promotions, Raffles, Chance Mechanics, and Spark Points

Users must not use the Services for unlawful gambling, unapproved raffles, chance-based prizes, unlicensed sales promotions, unauthorized commercial campaigns, or other promotional activity requiring permits, approvals, disclosures, or controls that have not been obtained or implemented.

Organizer-controlled offline giveaways, sponsor giveaways, or Event freebies remain the responsibility of the Organizer or sponsor and may require separate rules, permits, disclosures, eligibility controls, and compliance review.

Spark Points may not be used for raffle entries, chance-based eligibility, prize draws, gambling, betting, sweepstakes, random-winner mechanics, supplier payments, cash-equivalent benefits, or external reward eligibility unless separately reviewed, approved, and lawfully implemented.

15. Event Privacy and Role-based Access Rules

Private Event Data must remain within the authorized Event context.

Guests, staff, suppliers, Organizers, coordinators, client approvers, photographers, media operators, security personnel, parking personnel, hosts, show-control users, family representatives, volunteers, and other role holders must not copy, export, screenshot, retain, sell, reuse, disclose, or contact persons using guest lists, QR passes, seating charts, VIP notes, accessibility notes, dietary notes, incident records, private media, Event communications, or other Event Data outside the authorized Event purpose.

Role-based access is limited to the Event function assigned. Access may be logged, restricted, revoked, or reviewed where necessary to protect Event privacy, safety, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

16. Prohibited Commercial Misuse

Users must not use the Services to conduct unauthorized supplier transactions, collect off-platform fees through deception, misrepresent platform payment status, falsely claim that CelebrateSync is holding funds, falsely claim supplier verification, misuse HostHaven operational payment notes, or solicit guests or suppliers in a manner inconsistent with the authorized Event purpose.

At initial launch, supplier payments, supplier payouts, escrow, marketplace checkout, split settlement, and supplier-service refunds are outside the Services unless separately reviewed and activated under applicable terms.

17. Enforcement Actions

The Operator may take proportionate action depending on the nature, severity, evidence, urgency, recurrence, applicable law, product capability, safety risk, rights involved, and potential harm.

Actions may include no action, warning, content restriction, visibility reduction, link disablement, content removal, profile correction, profile restriction, review freeze, supplier response restriction, message restriction, role revocation, QR or invite invalidation, account suspension, account termination, access blocking, evidence preservation, legal escalation, referral to competent authorities, or other reasonable action permitted by law and applicable terms.

The Operator is not required to use the same action in every case and may take urgent interim action before completing a full review where necessary to protect Users, minors, Events, suppliers, rights holders, the Services, or legal compliance.

18. Appeals and Redress

Where an appeal or reconsideration route is available for the affected feature, a User may request review of a content, Account, supplier-profile, review, role, or access action.

The Operator may require additional information, evidence, identity verification, ownership proof, rights-holder authority, Organizer confirmation, supplier authority, or other information reasonably necessary to assess the request.

Urgent safety, child-safety, privacy, IP, security, legal-hold, or abuse restrictions may remain in place while the matter is reviewed. The Operator does not promise an appeal route unless the route is technically and operationally available for the relevant feature.

Nothing in this Policy prevents a User from exercising non-waivable rights or seeking relief from a competent government, regulatory, judicial, or administrative authority where legally available.

19. Reporting Channels

Reports may be submitted through in-app reporting tools where available or through the appropriate contact channel below.

General Support: support@celebratesync.app Privacy Concerns and Data Rights: privacy@celebratesync.app Legal and Intellectual Property: legal@celebratesync.app Abuse, Safety, Child-Safety, Non-Consensual Intimate Media, Security Abuse, and Urgent Harm Reports: reportabuse@celebratesync.app

The Operator may route a report internally to the appropriate support, privacy, legal, security, abuse, or moderation function depending on the nature of the concern.

A report should include enough information to locate the relevant content, Account, Event, supplier profile, review, media, message, QR credential, or activity, and should include the reporter’s contact information where a response is requested or legally required.

20. Evidence Preservation, Legal Holds, and Confidentiality

The Operator may preserve content, Account data, Event data, reports, communications, metadata, logs, timestamps, IP or device records, moderation notes, supplier-profile records, review records, QR or invitation activity, access records, and related evidence where required or permitted by law.

Preservation may occur in connection with child-safety concerns, non-consensual intimate media, IP disputes, privacy complaints, security incidents, cybercrime concerns, fraud prevention, platform abuse, legal holds, regulatory matters, litigation, defense of claims, or other lawful purposes.

Certain preservation, restriction, reporting, cooperation, or disclosure actions may be confidential. The Operator may be unable to notify affected persons where notice is prohibited by law, restricted by lawful request, unsafe, inappropriate, or likely to compromise an investigation or legal obligation.

21. No Waiver of Rights

This Policy does not remove, waive, or limit rights, remedies, warranties, protections, complaints, or causes of action that cannot legally be removed, waived, or limited under applicable law.

Users may seek remedies from competent authorities where legally available. The Operator’s internal reporting, moderation, appeal, or redress process does not prevent a User from exercising non-waivable legal rights.
