Plain Summary
Spark Points are a free internal app-engagement feature. They are not money, not stored value, not a wallet balance, not a gift certificate, not a raffle entry, not a prize, and not a payment method.
Users cannot buy, sell, transfer, cash out, or exchange Spark Points for supplier services, discounts, event deposits, marketplace credits, external rewards, gift certificates, physical goods, or real-world prizes.
At launch, Spark Points may be used only for internal digital app benefits approved by the Operator. They may not be used for raffles, games of chance, supplier payments, review manipulation, child-directed rewards, targeted-ad rewards, or external redemption.
The Operator may disable, modify, reverse, expire, or remove Spark Points where needed for legal, app-store, security, fraud-prevention, cost-control, or operational reasons.
This summary is provided for convenience only. The full Terms govern.
1. Purpose of These Terms
These Spark Points Program Terms explain how Spark Points may be earned and used within the CelebrateSync / HostHaven ecosystem. Spark Points are intended only as a free, internal, digital app-engagement feature. They are not money, not stored value, not electronic money, not a gift certificate, not a cash reward, not a raffle entry, and not a substitute for payment.
These Terms form part of the CelebrateSync / HostHaven Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, Community Guidelines, and any applicable app, organizer, supplier, media, or role-specific addendum.
If there is any conflict between these Spark Points Program Terms and the Master Terms of Service, the Master Terms of Service will control, unless the conflict relates specifically to Spark Points, in which case these Spark Points Program Terms will apply to the Spark Points feature only.
2. Program Status at Launch
Spark Points may be enabled only if the Operator and legal counsel confirm that the launch version of the program is limited to internal app use and does not require a sales promotion permit, gaming/raffle approval, payment-service approval, or other prior regulatory clearance.
Until confirmed, Spark Points may be disabled, hidden, limited, or made available only in test, pilot, or internal mode.
The Operator may delay, disable, suspend, or modify Spark Points before or after launch if legal, app-store, consumer-protection, privacy, DTI, or operational review requires it.
3. What Spark Points Are
Spark Points are internal digital points that may be shown inside the CelebrateSync app or related HostHaven services.
They may be used only for internal app benefits, such as: temporary access to digital app tools; app usage boosts; internal app limits or feature unlocks; profile badges or non-monetary digital status; temporary premium-style app access; other internal digital features approved by the Operator and legal counsel.
Spark Points do not represent ownership of property, funds, credits, currency, stored value, prepaid value, or a right to receive cash, goods, services, prizes, discounts, or supplier benefits.
4. What Spark Points Are Not
Spark Points are not: cash; electronic money; stored value; a gift certificate; a voucher for goods or services; a wallet balance; a deposit; a payment method; a refund method; a supplier credit; a marketplace credit; a prize; a raffle entry; a contest entry; a right to receive physical goods; a right to receive supplier services; transferable property; redeemable value outside the app. Users may not sell, buy, trade, transfer, assign, pledge, convert, withdraw, cash out, exchange, or redeem Spark Points for cash or anything outside the app.
5. No Purchase of Spark Points
Users cannot buy Spark Points with real money.
The platform will not sell point bundles, discounted points, paid point packages, paid chances, raffle entries, or paid access to earn more Spark Points.
If any paid Spark Points mechanic is considered in the future, it must remain disabled unless and until separately reviewed and approved by legal counsel and, where applicable, the proper regulator or app-store rules.
6. No Cash Value
Spark Points have no cash value and no monetary value.
Spark Points cannot be redeemed for cash, refund, payment, payout, deposit, supplier service, event service, gift certificate, physical goods, external reward, real-world prize, or marketplace credit.
Spark Points cannot be converted into any currency or transferred to a bank account, e-wallet, card, payment account, supplier account, organizer account, or third-party account.
7. No External Rewards or Supplier Redemption
Spark Points may not be used to obtain: supplier discounts; supplier services; venue services; catering; photography or media services; event deposits; event packages; marketplace credits; third-party goods; gift certificates; vouchers; external freebies; sponsored prizes; real-world rewards.
Supplier redemption, supplier payouts, supplier settlement, marketplace checkout, commissions, escrow, split payments, and external rewards are not part of the initial Spark Points program.
Any such future use is gated and requires separate legal, tax, payment, app-store, and operational review.
8. No Raffles, Chance Prizes, or Games of Chance
Spark Points may not be used for raffles, games of chance, prize draws, spin-the-wheel mechanics, lucky draws, contests, sweepstakes, random prize selection, or any similar chance-based activity.
Spark Points may not be used to increase a user’s chance of winning any prize or giveaway.
If the app later provides an organizer-controlled event draw tool, that tool must be separate from Spark Points unless separately reviewed and approved. The organizer or client, not the platform, would be responsible for any offline prize, permit, eligibility rule, or fulfillment obligation.
9. Permanent Internal Feature, Not a Limited-Time Promotion
Spark Points are intended as a continuing internal app feature, not a limited-time sales campaign, promotional contest, raffle, sweepstakes, or limited-time marketing offer.
The platform should not advertise Spark Points using campaign language such as: “earn points this week only”; “buy points now”; “earn points to win a prize”; “limited-time reward campaign”; “free gift for earning points”; “redeem points for supplier discounts”; “cash out your points”; “use points as event credit.” The Operator may still update earning rules, usage limits, and app features as part of normal product operations, provided the program remains internal, non-cash, non-transferable, and non-promotional in nature.
10. How Users May Earn Spark Points
Subject to feature availability, users may earn Spark Points through approved in-app actions, such as: completing a profile; creating or updating an occasion; setting reminders; using internal planning tools; completing app onboarding; uploading allowed memories or event media, where enabled; responding to invitations or RSVP actions, where enabled; other internal app activities listed in the app.
The Operator may add, remove, limit, suspend, or modify earning actions at any time to prevent abuse, comply with law, comply with app-store rules, reduce system costs, or improve product quality.
The app may show the number of Spark Points earned or available, but this display is only an internal app status indicator and does not represent money or property.
11. Actions That May Not Earn Spark Points at Launch
Unless separately approved by counsel, Spark Points should not be earned from: writing supplier reviews; posting public ratings; referring minors; inviting users through spam-like behavior; purchasing goods or services; buying platform subscriptions; watching targeted advertising; joining raffles; entering prize draws; interacting with supplier marketplace payments; any activity involving cash-out, external redemption, or chance-based benefit. The platform may disqualify any activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, automated, misleading, spam-like, or inconsistent with these Terms.
12. Internal App Benefits
Spark Points may be used only for internal digital app benefits approved by the Operator, such as: temporary digital boosts; temporary access to app tools; profile badges; internal app themes or display features; internal planning tools; internal account feature limits; premium-style access that has no cash-out or external redemption value. The app may change, remove, replace, suspend, or limit available internal benefits at any time. No internal benefit is guaranteed to remain available permanently.
13. Expiration and Changes
The Operator may set expiration periods, limits, caps, or usage windows for Spark Points. Spark Points may expire if: the app states an expiration period; a temporary app feature ends; a user account is inactive; the program is changed or discontinued; the account is suspended, deleted, or terminated; Spark Points were obtained by error, fraud, abuse, or misuse. The app should display or make available the applicable expiration or validity rule where reasonably practicable.
14. Adjustment, Reversal, and Forfeiture
The Operator may adjust, reverse, remove, or forfeit Spark Points if: points were credited by mistake; points were obtained through fraud or abuse; the user created duplicate or fake accounts; the user used automated scripts, bots, or unauthorized tools; the user violated the Terms, Community Guidelines, or app rules; the user attempted to sell, transfer, or exchange points; the user used points in connection with prohibited activities; required by law, app-store rules, or regulatory guidance. The Operator is not required to compensate users for removed or expired Spark Points.
15. No Transfer
Spark Points are personal to the account where they appear. Users may not transfer Spark Points to another person, account, organizer, supplier, business, wallet, payment service, or third party. Spark Points may not be inherited, assigned, pledged, sold, traded, donated, auctioned, or exchanged. Any attempted transfer may be voided.
16. Minors and Age-Safe Use
Spark Points are not intended to create promotional pressure on minors.
The Operator may restrict or disable Spark Points for users who are minors, suspected minors, child participants, child profiles, or accounts connected to minor-focused event flows.
Spark Points may not be used to encourage minors to: invite others; watch ads; post reviews; upload public content; join raffles; participate in prize mechanics; share personal data; engage in commercial or promotional activity.
If the Operator cannot reliably provide an age-safe Spark Points experience, the feature may be disabled for minors or disabled entirely until proper controls are available.
17. Rewarded Ads
Rewarded ads are not part of Spark Points unless expressly enabled after legal and app-store review.
If rewarded ads are enabled, they must be: optional; not targeted to minors; not required to use core app features; disclosed in the Privacy Policy, Cookie/Ads Policy, and app-store disclosures; credited only through server-side verification where available; subject to limits, fraud controls, and age-safety controls.
Watching an ad must not entitle a user to cash, external prizes, supplier benefits, or real-world rewards.
If rewarded ads create legal, DTI, app-store, or child-safety risk, the Operator may disable them.
18. Reviews and Spark Points
Spark Points may not be used to buy, influence, manipulate, or reward the substance, rating, tone, or outcome of any supplier review, public rating, testimonial, or review response.
If Spark Points are ever awarded in connection with a review-related task, they may only be awarded for completing the eligible task itself, such as submitting a review after a verified event experience. Spark Points must not depend on whether the review is positive or negative, the number of stars given, the content of the review, whether the supplier agrees with the review, or whether the review helps or harms a supplier.
If counsel approves review-task Spark Points in the future, the platform must clearly disclose that:
1. the user may receive Spark Points for completing the review task;
2. the user is not required to give a positive review;
3. the user may give any honest rating or feedback based on their actual event experience;
4. Spark Points will not increase for 5-star reviews, positive comments, or favorable supplier feedback;
5. fake, abusive, duplicate, competitor, self-promotional, or misleading reviews remain prohibited;
6. the platform may remove or withhold Spark Points if the review violates the Review Guidelines, Community Policy, or applicable law.
Spark Points must never be offered for review responses, supplier retaliation, review editing to become more favorable, removal of a negative review, or any action that would distort the honesty or independence of public reviews.
19. Account Suspension or Deletion
If a user deletes an account, the user may lose unused Spark Points.
If an account is suspended, restricted, or terminated for violation of the Terms, Community Guidelines, privacy rules, anti-abuse rules, child-safety rules, review rules, or applicable law, the Operator may remove or freeze Spark Points. The Operator is not required to provide cash, refund, replacement value, or compensation for unused, expired, removed, or forfeited Spark Points.
20. Taxes and Fees
Because Spark Points have no cash value and are not redeemable outside the app, the Operator does not treat them as cash compensation to users. If any tax, fee, withholding, reporting, or government requirement applies to a future version of Spark Points or any related benefit, the Operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program. Users are responsible for any tax consequences that may apply to them under applicable law.
21. Abuse and Prohibited Conduct
Users must not: create fake accounts to earn Spark Points; create fake events or fake activity; automate actions to earn points; manipulate invitations, RSVPs, reviews, or uploads; spam contacts or other users; sell or trade points; misrepresent points as cash or rewards; use points for raffles, prizes, or supplier benefits; exploit bugs or technical errors; interfere with the system that records or verifies points.
The Operator may investigate suspected abuse and may freeze, reverse, or remove points while reviewing the issue.
22. Program Changes and Termination
The Operator may modify, suspend, limit, or terminate Spark Points at any time for legal, business, product, app-store, security, fraud-prevention, cost-control, or operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, the Operator may provide notice of material changes. However, the Operator may act immediately without prior notice if needed to prevent abuse, comply with law, protect users, address app-store concerns, or respond to regulatory guidance.
No user is entitled to compensation, refund, damages, or cash equivalent if Spark Points are changed, suspended, limited, expired, or discontinued.
23. Availability
Spark Points may not be available to all users, accounts, events, countries, devices, or app versions.
The Operator may limit Spark Points by: account type; age status; region; app version; feature flag; event type; abuse-risk status; legal or regulatory requirements.
Spark Points should not be presented as available worldwide unless the legal and app-store requirements for those regions have been reviewed.
24. No Guarantee of Availability
The Operator does not guarantee that Spark Points or any internal app benefit will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or unchanged. Spark Points may be delayed, miscalculated, unavailable, or removed due to technical error, app-store review, legal review, account status, fraud detection, or system maintenance. The Operator may correct Spark Points balances or records at any time.
25. Relationship to Platform Payments
Spark Points are separate from platform fees and subscriptions.
At launch, the platform may charge fees directly for HostHaven platform usage, event activation, app upgrades, subscriptions, storage, or internal digital tools, if enabled and approved. Spark Points are not used for supplier settlement, supplier deposits, marketplace checkout, escrow, commissions, payouts, event deposits, or third-party payments. Payments between organizers/customers and suppliers are outside the platform at launch unless separately reviewed and enabled through an approved third-party provider and legal framework.
26. Privacy
The platform may process Spark Points-related information such as: account ID; point balance; earning activity; redemption or usage history; fraud-prevention signals; feature access records; device or app activity needed to operate the program. The platform uses this information to operate Spark Points, prevent abuse, support users, maintain records, improve the app, and comply with legal obligations. Spark Points data is handled under the Privacy Notice, Data Rights Policy, Retention Schedule, and applicable law.
27. Support and Disputes
Users may contact support about Spark Points through the official support channel listed in the app or legal hub. The Operator may review Spark Points concerns but does not guarantee restoration of expired, removed, adjusted, or forfeited points. The Operator’s records will generally be used to determine whether points were earned, used, expired, reversed, or removed. For unresolved complaints, users may use the complaint and redress process described in the Master Terms of Service and applicable law.
28. Future Features Remain Gated
The following are not part of the approved initial Spark Points program unless separately reviewed and approved: paid point purchases; discounted point bundles; cash redemption; transfer between users; marketplace credits; supplier redemption; event deposits; supplier discounts; physical goods; external gift certificates; real-world prizes; raffles; sweepstakes; games of chance; prize draws; spin-the-wheel mechanics; targeted ads tied to earning points; public child-directed reward mechanics; review incentives; regional promotions. Any future expansion may require separate Terms, regulator filings, app-store updates, tax review, consumer-protection review, privacy review, and counsel approval.
29. Summary of Launch Position
For initial launch, the intended Spark Points position is: free earned only; internal app use only; no cash value; no paid points; no transfer; no external goods; no gift certificates; no supplier redemption; no marketplace credits; no event deposits; no raffles; no chance prizes; no paid promotions; no review incentives; no child-directed reward pressure; no global expansion claim.
